Creepy Crawlies and Interesting Insects

Bringing insects into the classroom can inspire awe in children. The scale, colours, and potentially repellent nature of small bugs can be fascinating for students to draw and observe. This project focuses on students observational drawing and printmaking techniques. Students study the work of a variety of artists such as Raku Inoue, Damien Hirst and Lucy Arnold.
