Visual Arts IB
Having recently undertaken IB training I have a fresh perspective of what the IB Visual Arts option can offer students. A course that matches well with the learning style and independence required for success at University. Students engage in independent research to inform their studio practice and experiment with a wide variety of materials to produce exhibition based on critical conceptual ideas. Knowledge of technique, context and impact on the audience is an important aspect within the course and throughout students are encouraged to curate their work within the studio. Students are taught in a collaborative environment creating art pieces through reflection, iteration and refinement.
